In 1950, the two men pictured below, Homer Denius and George Shaw, founded Radiation, Inc., a small electronics company in rustic Melbourne, Florida,.

For the next 17 years, Radiation produced an amazing series of technical achievements, encouraged and inspired community development, and challenged a talented group of employees who still meet and recall the fun involved in the hard work.

In 1967, Radiation merged with Harris-Intertype, a printing equipment manufacturer, but the DNA of Radiation achievements is clearly visible today in the products of Harris Corporation, a leader in electronic systems.
